OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY DEPARTMENT

Occupational Therapist – Looking for an occupational therapist to join our talented team of pediatric specialists. Must have current license to practice as an occupational therapist in the state of Nebraska. Previous pediatric experience is preferred, but not required. Feeding (Oral Motor and Sensory based) experience highly recommended.

Part-time – Full-time – max of 36-40 hours weekly including a Saturday rotation.

PHYSICAL THERAPY DEPARTMENT

Physical Therapist – Looking for a physical therapist to join our talented team of pediatric specialists. Must have current license to practice as a physical therapist in the state of Nebraska. Previous pediatric experience is preferred, but not required.

Part-time – 2 Saturdays per month.

Part-time – 10-20 hours weekly average including 2 Saturdays per month.

Full-time – 36-40 hours weekly average including a Saturday rotation.

This is such a special place and environment to be a part of! I was able to observe all therapists at the Pediatric Therapy Center for about two months and I ended up admiring the staff and environment so much I changed my whole path of what I wanted to do in college. It is incredibly apparent how much every single staff member not only enjoys their job, but also genuinely cares and loves the kids they work with. It was surreal to experience how quickly they help kids improve in whichever therapy a child is a part of. Every child I had the opportunity to observe enjoyed going to therapy because the therapists make sure every child has a great and fun experience. I have never been so inspired by a workplace and there is no question that these are some of the most amazing therapists out there! I recommend this lovely place 100%.

Working at a place like PTC has been a dream of mine since I was just beginning undergraduate school. I never in my wildest dreams thought I could be part of such an amazing team of therapists and working for a clinic that does so much good not only for the patients, but for the community too! I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly excited I was to be offered a position as a PT at PTC…I am not a crier, but my husband can attest to me shedding a tear because of my excitement. I am so blessed to be part of the PTC team, and so grateful for all of the knowledge that I gain daily when I am at work. Thank you Candice and Steph for making PTC such an amazing place and touching countless lives with your compassion!

The past 12 years I have spent at PTC have been truly amazing. I knew the minute I accepted a PT position with PTC that it was going to be my dream job come true-and I was so right!! I feel so blessed to have such amazing leaders to teach me, support me, and help me grow, not only as a therapist, but also as a person. 12 years ago you not only made your dreams come true by opening PTC, you also gave families in our community a place to be accepted, educated, and "empowered". You also started what I now call my second home. I could honestly not ask for a better place to work, bosses, coworkers, or friends. I love working at Pediatric Therapy Center. It is the place that I have called a “home” for the past 12+ years. I have had the pleasure of working with wonderful families that are dedicated to their child’s care and staff that wants to help them. PTC has helped me grow as a therapist by encouraging advancement of my skills through continuing education opportunities and support from fellow therapists. PTC is an exceptional place that not only cares about the staff and families, but also the community. I am so lucky to be a part of such an excellent organization.

Working for PTC since the very beginning, I have seen all of the changes and growth that have come about in the past 12+ years. One thing that has not change is the level of care we provide to our patients and their families. We are here to listen and provide families with the highest level of support possible.

Working the front desk at PTC for the last 5+ years has been nothing but amazing! Seeing how all the kids grow and develop with the help of our awesome therapists is such a joy to watch! When they run in and are excited to see your face and tell you all about what is going on their lives, it makes you feel so special. We have some of the best families! I have enjoyed learning and growing with each and every one of them.

Helping these amazing kids progress in their motor skills and independence and sharing ideas with families on how to use new skills at home makes working at PTC a privilege! We have such a great PT team that collaborates and supports each other. We are so lucky to be able to co-treat with experienced colleagues in other therapy disciplines with an emphasis on excellence, integrity, and professional growth.
